Privacy Policy

Sredible Inc. ("Sredible," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Sredible platform and website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.

Sredible is a business-to-business platform used by SR&ED consultants, accounting firms, and the businesses they file on behalf of. Much of the information processed through the platform is confidential client and financial information. We treat that information with corresponding care.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly. This includes account registration details (name, business name, email address, phone number), billing information, and any information you enter into the platform to prepare SR&ED claims. Claim data may include technical project descriptions, financial and payroll figures, expenditure records, corporate tax details, and supporting documentation.

Information collected automatically. When you use the website or platform, we collect log data, device and browser information, IP address, and usage information such as the pages and features you access. We use cookies and similar technologies for this purpose, described further in our Cookie Policy.

Information from third parties. If you connect a third-party service or sign in through an identity provider, we receive information from that service as permitted by your settings with it.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the platform, including preparing and storing SR&ED claim data on your behalf
  • authenticate users, manage accounts, and process billing and payments
  • respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account and the service
  • improve, secure, and develop the platform, including diagnosing technical issues and analyzing usage patterns
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not sell personal information. We do not use confidential client claim data to train or develop products outside of providing the service to you.

How we share information

We share information only as necessary to operate the service and as described below:

Service providers. We use trusted third parties for hosting, infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, and communications. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

Within your organization. Information you enter is accessible to authorized users in your firm or account according to the roles and permissions you configure.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sredible, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If Sredible is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

Where Sredible processes information on behalf of a firm or business (for example, the end client a claim is filed for), requests regarding that information should generally be directed to the firm that controls the account. We will assist that firm in responding.

Data security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. These measures are described in more detail on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We also retain information as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Given that SR&ED claim records may be subject to CRA review and statutory retention periods, claim data may be retained accordingly. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@sredible.com.

International data transfers

Sredible is operated from Canada, and information is primarily processed and stored in Canada. Where information is processed or stored outside your province or country, it may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is held, including lawful access by courts and government authorities in that jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
