Why we built this
Preparing a defensible SR&ED claim is detailed, technical work: scoping eligible activities, isolating qualifying expenditures, applying the proxy or traditional method correctly, reconciling salaries against T4s and specified-employee caps, and assembling documentation that holds up under CRA review.
Most consultants and small accounting firms manage this across multiple clients using spreadsheets, generic document tools, and institutional memory. We built Sredible to replace that — structuring the entire claim workflow, from technical narratives and costing through to the T661, Schedule 31, and a complete audit package, so practitioners can prepare more claims with greater accuracy and less manual rework.
Built for practitioners, not bolted onto accounting software
Sredible is designed specifically for the people who file SR&ED for a living: independent consultants, boutique SR&ED firms, and small to mid-sized accounting practices managing multi-client portfolios. It is not a generic accounting tool with an SR&ED feature bolted on — every part of the product reflects how a claim is actually built and defended.
Sredible was founded by a practitioner with more than ten years of hands-on SR&ED experience — including T661 preparation, proxy and traditional method analysis, provincial ITC calculations, and CRA audit defense — combined with a background in finance and software development. The platform is built on that practitioner knowledge, not on assumptions about how the work should be done.
