A strong technical narrative does not read like a product brochure. It shows systematic investigation: what was uncertain, what was tried, what failed, and what was learned that advances the field beyond routine engineering.
Lead with the technological objective and the state of the art your team started from. Then walk through experiments or iterations chronologically, tying people and hours to the work without burying the story in timesheets.
Close with outcomes — including partial success. CRA does not require commercial success; it requires evidence of experimental development aimed at technological advancement.
